Glass
Art in the Garden
Glass in the garden!!!! Yes - it works, and its
wonderful. The way the light plays on the glass, which changes as
the light changes. Fused and cast glass art works beautifully
in the garden and compliments the flowers, trees shrubs and outdoor landscape.
Why not see
for yourself and enhance not only your life but your garden as
well.
Imagine
Three
eye-catching 'funky' multi-coloured flower heads, that also
contain dichroic and iridescent glass. As well as looking
bright and sunny in the sunlight, when the light fades, or
there's no sun, the dichroic glass comes alive and sparkles like
stars.
The flower
heads are set onto a contemporary cold rolled brushed steel metalwork designed
and created by
Welsh based metal artist Phil Rogers of
Down to Earth.
The
sculpture is set into a wonderful piece of stone, which looks
like fossilized wood.

Shepherd, Metalsmiths of Kimbolten in Herefordshire.
The flower
is set into a stone, which I took from my garden. It was
part of a dry stone wall that I knocked down with my car!!!
Growing out of the stone is a small piece of ivy.
